How to care for gold filled jewelry

• It is safe to get your gold filled jewelry wet, however I would avoid the ocean or pools. Chlorine, saltwater, perfume and the natural chemicals in sweat can cause damage to the metal over time.
• You can wipe your jewelry with a soft jewelry polishing cloth for a light cleaning.

• Soak your jewelry for a minute or so in a concoction of warm water and a drop of mild soap, rinse it throughly and completely dry it with a towel for a deep cleaning. A soft brush may be used during the cleaning periodically.
• The goal is to keep it dry. Tip: Storing your jewelry with silica gel packets is helpful.
