FRAY No. 12
FRAY No. 12 is a one-of-a-kind leather art on canvas portrait: a person in a wide green hat. The hat is built in layers, with a green suede crown, a band of genuine lizard stitched in green thread, and a pebbled leather brim.
The face carries dimension, texture and color, hand stitched in gold, with brown hair-on hide and lizard. The collar is embossed cream hair-on hide, set against suede highlighted with metallic leather. Everything sits on hand-textured black acrylic.
Made in January 2026, it’s the twelfth piece in the Fray Collection. At 20″ square, it can hold a wall on its own.
